What to Expect

When you register your child for Adventure Camps, you agree to one of the following policies & procedures

Camps

CAMP SCHEDULE

We are a completely mobile day camp. We purposely do not adhere to a set schedule or a calendar in advance. Please ask us for our tentative plans when you drop off your child each morning. 

 

ABSENCE

If your child will be absent from camp, email or text us no later than 7:30 AM that morning. There are no refunds, credits, or make-ups for missed days.

 

LATE PICK UPS

Please be on time to drop off and pick up your children.  Our vans have a schedule and cannot be late. If you miss the van in the morning, please text us to make arrangements. If you are late to pick up your child in the afternoon, there will be a minimum fee of $50 to drive a child home, plus late charges ($1 per minute). Late charges must be paid at the time you pick up your child. Please ensure that whoever picks up your child knows our location and parking procedures; they are listed in the confirmation email and on this website.

EMERGENCY TREATMENT

In the unlikely event that your child requires emergency medical treatment, our policy is to call the parents and the child’s doctor and then take them to the nearest emergency room or urgent care. Parents are responsible for paying any medical expenses incurred while your child is at camp. By registering for Adventure Camps online, you have agreed to our refund policy and emergency procedures. These policies are listed on the Adventure Camps registration page, the ActivityHero website, and below.

​My child has permission to participate in the activities of Adventure Camp. I hereby consent to any medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of an emergency. I understand I am responsible for paying any medical expenses incurred while my child is at camp. Adventure Camp and its staff shall not be held liable for any accidents that may occur while my child is at camp or any actions taken during emergency or medical procedures. I understand that Adventure Camp is a completely mobile day camp and that no calendar or schedule of activities is available in advance. Adventure Camps has my permission to use any photos and videos taken during camp for promotional purposes. ​​​

Summer Camp REFUND POLICY

​With the exception of a $175 non-refundable registration fee per week, the remaining tuition is refundable until May 15th. After that time, there are no refunds, make-up days, or credits for any reason, including illness, withdrawal, dismissal, weather, natural disasters, or pandemics. If you miss any days in that session, they are not available for refunds or credits. (No exceptions).

All tuition is 75% refundable up to 30 days and 50% refundable up to 14 days before the start of each vacation camp. After that time, there are no refunds or credits for any reason, including illness, cancellation, or dismissal. There are no exceptions, including (weather, pandemics, and natural or man-made disasters).

SCHOOL YEAR CAMPS Refund Policy

To enroll, there is a 20% non-refundable registration fee. The remaining balance is fully refundable until the end of the second week of camp. After that time, there are no refunds for any reason, including illness, withdrawal, or dismissal. There are no exceptions (weather, natural or man-made disasters, pandemics, etc.).
